Frequently Asked Questions

REgistration Questions

Q: Where is Conference being held?
A: The meeting will be held at the beautiful Westin Bayshore Vancouver! Get ready for that morning ocean view!

Q: Who is attending the meeting?
A: All EB Games associates that hold a Store Manager, or Field Management position before the close of registration on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Q: When can I register?
A: Thursday, June 27, 2019 - Thursday, August 1st. It’s best to register as soon as possible.

Q: What are the arrival dates?
A: Arrivals are as follows:
Sunday, September 8th by 4:00 pm: Field Management Attendees
Monday, September 9th by 2:00 pm: All other attendees

Q: What are the departure dates?
A: Departures are as follows:
Friday, September 13th, anytime: All attendees can depart.

Q: Will we receive an email confirmation from the registration website?
A: Yes, after completing your registration, you will receive a registration confirmation email.

Hotel& transportation Questions

Q: Do I make my own flight arrangements?
A: No! You will be asked to submit your flight preference in registration. Just like in year's past, we will book your flight for you. You will receive your flight itinerary once we've booked your flight. If you plan to Stay & Play in Vancouver before or after Conference, make sure you note that in Registration along with your Stay & Play arrival/departure dates!

Q: Will I be charged if I change my flight?
A: Yes. If an attendee elects to change their travel information after the ticket has been issued, any change fees will be the responsibility of the traveler. However, you have 24 hours from the time of issue to change without a penalty.

Q: Will all flight itineraries be sent out electronically?
A: Yes, all flight confirmations will be emailed out individually to the email address used in your registration.

Q: Do I make my own hotel reservations?
A: No, your hotel reservations will be made for you once you complete your on-line registration.

Q: What if I have a preferred roommate?
A: All attendees below director level are required to roommate. Contact your preferred roommate early to confirm they would like to share a room. You must list each other as your preferred roommate on the registration form. If you request a roommate who does not request you, we will assign you another roommate.

Q: How will I receive correspondence prior to the meeting?
A: We will send out meeting communications via email. Please make sure to check your email for any new information and updates.

Arrival Questions

Q: What is the dress code and what do I need to pack?
A: You may wear clean, un-torn, business appropriate jeans with a collared or business appropriate shirt to all meetings and functions.

Q: Will transportation be provided to and from the airport and hotel?
A: Yes, shuttle transportation will be provided to/from the Vancouver airport to the Westin Bayshore hotel. Please remember that EB Games has secured shuttles as a group to obtain the best prices; therefore if you elect to secure another means of transportation during the meeting you will not be reimbursed. Those who have planned “Stay & Play” vacation around the show will be responsible for their transportation on their extended days. Please see Alternative Transportation below for a transportation recommendation.

Q: Will I need a rental car?
A: Rental cars are not needed, as Vancouver is walkable!

Q: Are all of the scheduled events mandatory?
A: Yes. All attendees are required to attend every scheduled session and event.
